Road Hunter: Truck Stops, GPS and nearby Gas Stations for Truckers App Reviews

There are still things truckers need that these apps dont do but I love the fact that this one tells u all the truck stops along the way and all the Walmarts too! Thats a huge plus for me and my husband!!!

I like how it has in addition to points of interest for truck drivers such as weigh stations and truck/fuel stops, but weather alerts also that appear right on the map as a layer, no need to open another app to see whats going on as for the weather. Now the only thing Id like to see, is an active weather radar layer so as Im moving across the country I can see in real time how a storm is moving along my route and location...

So far this is a good app and I will be using it

I have it two stars rather than 2 because the idea is good, but they need to improve it. Something that they acknowledge. Two thumbs up to them for that. I entered and address in santa barbara, California, departing from Panorama City, Ca. The directions it showed me was the complete opposite of the right direction. SB is north from me, not south. And it was taking me way south. About 40 miles south. So yes, it needs some work alright.

After updating to vs 1.0.8 the app wont even open. This is very unfortunate because I used this awesome app every day.. Now Im screwed. Might be my phone, dont know.

Using this app all the time during my trucking. I really like weigh station updated statues, very accurate and helping me avoid open weigh stations. I would recommend this app for every truck driver

Its best app in market ..but low clearence is not working ..not showing low bridge..other than that its perrfect app from r truckers!!!!!

Very useful for those on the road, a lot of information that helps.

Most useful feature of this app is gas stations, period. App lets you see your favorite gas station on the map! No google searching anymore. I find it convenient to see where is my preferred gas station along my way that helps me plan my rout better. Also this app would work for regular gas stations as well. It has option to select regular stations like chevron or arco.

Very handy app for truck drivers. Shows diesel prices updated nationwide, very friendly design, easy to use. Showing weight stations and truck stops along the rout is also very helpful. I already love it! Highly recommend this app!
